On this page we will post all the information about the championships organized by the Basque Association of Beach Tennis and Minority Sports on Rafting.

Apparently, if all goes well, we will soon be members of the International Rafting Federation, the highest body that regulates official Rafting competitions worldwide. It will be a great honor to be able to represent our territory, Basque Country, in some of the official competitions. In any case, our group has no experience and we will try to organize the Basque Championship once a year in Bidarraitz or Ordesa and another championship to train and gain experience.

This year, being the first, and not having any club, we will speak with the members of the Association. We know that the Basque Canoe Federation will also help us, so they may send a paddler. Many boys and girls from the Association have told us that they would like to try rafting and participate in the championships that we hold. We still don't have a fixed date for the I.Basque Rafting Championship, but very presumably we will organize it at the end of September or beginning of october in Bidarray (Basque Country-France), with the help of the "Ur-bizia" club. We will go 6-8 members from Bilbao and with the help of two guides there will be two boats fighting for the Basque Championship. Whoever makes the descent in the shortest possible time will be the first winner.

Finally, we will immediately make a logo that represents Basque Rafting. There will be new news soon.

En esta pagína colgaremos toda la información sobre los campeonatos que organice la Asociación Vasca de Beach Tennis y Deportes Minoritarios sobre el Rafting.

Al parecer, si todo va bien, pronto seremos miembros de la International Rafting Federation, el maximo organo que regula las competiciones oficiales de Rafting a nivel Mundial. Será un gran honor pdoer representar a nuestro territorio en alguan de las competicioens oficiales. De todas maneras, nuestro grupo no tiene experiencia y trataremos de organziar el Campeonato Vasco una vez al año en Bidarraitz u Ordesa y otro campeonato para ir entrenando y coger experiencia.

Este año al ser el primero, y al no tener ningun club hablaremos con los miembros de la Asociación. Sabemos que la Federacion Vasca de Canoa tambien nos ayudará, por lo que posiblemente manden algun palista. Muchos chicos y chicas de la Asociación nos han dicho que les gustaría probar el rafting y participar en los campeonatos que hagamos. Todavia no tenemos una fecha fija para el I.Campeonato Vasco de Rafting pero muy presumiblemente lo organizaremos a finales de septeimbre o cominezos de octubre en Bidarritz, con la ayuda del club "Ur-bizia". Iremos 6-8 miembros desde Bilbao y con la ayuda de dos guias habra dos embarcaciones luchando por el Campeonato Vasco. El que realice el descenso en el menor tiempo posible será el primer ganador.

Por ultimo en seguida haremos un logo que represente el Rafting Vasco.Habra nuevas noticias proximamente.

Maiatzaren 27an, Beach Tennis eta Kirol Gutxituen Euskal Elkarteak, Basque Rafting Sailak, Euskal Herriko II. Rafting Txapelketa antolatu zuen. Iaz lehenengo ekitaldia egin genuen eta aurten bigarrena. Iaz Itsasun (Lapurdin) egin bagenuen aurten handik nahiko hurbil dagoen Bidarrai izeneko herrian egin dugu, Lapurdin ere bai. Hiru botek parte hartu zuten: Bizkaitarra, Ausartak (iazko garaileek) eta Azkarrak. Aurreko urtean baino ur gehiago egon zan, ez askoz gehiago, eta ur gehiago egon zenez ez ginen harrietan trabatu, ez asko behintzat. Bide erdian ur-laster sigi-sagatsua zuen eta kosttuko zitzaigun pasatzea, batez ere, Bizkaitarrak eta Azkarrak boteei begirale barik gindoazelako, baina tira aurrera egin genuen. Azkarrak boteko kide bi uretara jausi ziren zati horretan, baina berehala igo ziren lasterketarekin jarraitzeko.

Aurten ere Ausartak boterik azkarrena izan zen, eta Bizkaitarrak bigarren tokian gelditu zen 6 segundora. Aurreko igandean, Beach Tennis eta Kirol Gutxituen Euskal Elkarteak, Basque Rafting sailak, Euskal Herriko I. Rafting Txapelketa antolatu eban. Lasterketa Itsasun (Lapurdin) egin genuen eta bi botek edo taldek parte hartu zuten: Bizkaitarrak eta Ausartak. Ibaian ur gutxi zegoen eta horren ondorioz arroka batzuetan blokeatuta geratu ginen, baina azkenean ibilbide osoa egin ahal izan gehuen. Azkarrena Ausartak talde izan zen, 52 minutu eta 31 segundogaz. Bizkaitarrak taldeak 30 segundo gehiago behar izan zituen. Hurrengo urtean saiatuko gara II. Euskal Herriko Txapelketa egiten, martxoan edo ibaian ur gehiago egon dadin.
